- This is an I2C communication, a built-in PWM driver, and a clock. This means that it will be very different from the tlc5940 series. You don’t need to keep sending signals to occupy your MCU!
- It’s 5V compatible, which means you can also use a 3.3V microcontroller to control and safely drive to 6V output (when you want to control white or blue lights, it’s OK to use 3.4 + positive voltage)
- 6 Address selection pin enables you to hang 62 driver boards on a single I2C bus, with 992 PWM outputs in total. That would be a huge resource.
- About 1.6kHz adjustable frequency PWM output
- For the stepper motor ready to output 12-bit resolution, which means that the update rate at 60Hz can reach 4us resolution
- Configurable push-pull output or open circuit output
- The output enable pin can quickly disable all outputs
