Description
Setting method |
1. Turn on the transmitter and push the throttle to the highest position (FUTABA series transmitters need to select REV as the throttle channel). 2. Connect the receiver and motor. 3. Turn on the power of the ESC, if the transmitter is normal, there will be the following sound: (If there is a long “beep” after the sound ends, then there will be no more sound, then check the reverse setting of the throttle channel of the transmitter.) BB means LIPO automatic protection BB BB means NIMH/NICD automatic protection BBB BBB means brake selection (When there is no operation, all sounds will continue to cycle until there is an operation request.) There are settings you want during the sound cycle, and you will hear the prompt When the first syllable of the sound is heard, (for example, when LIPO automatic protection is selected, the throttle is pulled to the lowest position when a B is heard), and the throttle is quickly pulled to the lowest position. At the same time, the motor will make a very sharp sound to confirm. At this time, if there is another setting, quickly push the throttle to the maximum, and then you can choose the next option. If the setting you want is completed, then wait for 2 seconds, the motor will make a suitable battery protection confirmation sound again, and you can use it after confirming the throttle position. LIPO automatic protection has only 2 protection voltage protection points, namely 6V and 9V, the battery can be fully charged unnecessarily. NIMH automatic protection is calculated according to the actual number of batteries, each battery is set to 0.8V, in order to accurately judge the voltage of the battery, please fully charge the battery. If it is not fully charged, the ESC will estimate the protection voltage based on 70% of the voltage. (This function can also be used when using 4LIPO) Brake: The factory setting is none. You can do a brake setting operation during actual use, so that the motor will use the back electromotive force to brake after closing the accelerator. If you want to release the braking function, you can set the braking operation again, and then the function will be cancelled. The factory parameter reset function, because this series of ESCs have overheating and misuse protection functions, if you find that your ESC has any characteristics such as acceleration, steering, or throttle curve, and any changes from when it was new, you can do it once Factory parameter settings to regain maximum performance. |
There is a long beep of B when power on, indicating that the ESC is in the automatic protection state of LIPO, and three beeps of BBB, indicating that the ESC is in the automatic protection state of NIMH/NICD.
